There should be a Chinese market near my school, I need to find some time to pay a visit.

Almost always impressed with different culinary skills, but even I feel a little bad over some of this stuff.

When I was shown around a Chinese market this year, I was spellbound by what I saw inside the place. I don't like the thought of them killing the fish right in front of you either, but either way it is the freshest it'll ever be!

I'm aware of a Chinese method of cooking where the dish is literally served still alive. It's cooked, cleaned seasoned, sauced, everything, but the thing is STILL ALIVE! Yeah, that's rather disturbing for me.

I can only imagine what they'd think of lobster tanks.

I've never seen a lobster tank personally, either way shellfish makes me sick.

Well, to look on the bright side, at least the fish will be about as fresh as you can get!

I do feel for Russ though, I don't think it'd be pleasant to see a living creature getting decapitated right in front of you...

That's pretty much how Chinese butchers cut fish.
