Leeroy reminds me of me when I started getting used to spicy food. :P

Of course LeeRoy wouldn't be phased by hot wasabi. He's a fricking dragon! He has fire in his gut at all times so hot and spicy foods not registering at all to him makes perfect sense :D

You know this kind of reminds of me one of the mini-games in Pokemon Stadium, "Sushi-Go-Round". In that game you play as a Lickitung trying to eat as many Japanese culinary treats such as sushi and wasabe and rack up as much money as possible to win. Of course, the hotter foods make your Lickitung run around screaming in terror while the more pricey foods also make your Lickitung run around crying "OOOHHHHH!" If you've never seen it, I recommend watching it being played on Youtube. Highly entertaining stuff! XD

Of course Mega Wasabi would be mild for Leeroy. He pops Carolina Reaper peppers like fiery bonbons thanks to his fire making powers

Cool picture of Tokyo Tower there. ;)

Yeah when I said get drink last time, I didn't mean burn your mouth first before you start drinking, LOL!

I made a trip to Scotland years ago and only some of us (including me) ate the haggis.

I've never tried it myself (shock!)

Haggis is a sheep's innards cooked with oats and spices and boiled in the sheep's stomach 🤢🥵🤮. Your fellow countrymen may disagree, but who wants to risk food poisoning eating haggis?

Canned haggis is prohibited stateside because the ingredients used pose a risk of food poisoning. You would have to make your own from scratch using domestic ingredients.

Yes, kill Portland with fire.

There is a very spicy chili pepper called Dragon's Breath strangely enough, developed just a few years ago in Wales. Knowing Leeroy, that's more of his desired spice level as he'd probably snack on habaneros like potato chips.
kennethsarmstrong 31st Jul 2020, 3:01 AM
Wasabi is much hotter than curry. Wasabi should only be used a little at a time.

Trevor eats curry to excess, yet he can handle its heat. Leeroy must be bored with curry. To him, wasabi is much spicier, but still very mild. I doubt that Leeroy would consider ghost peppers as being very hot.

I once heard of a spice that is so strong that it can break the glass bottle that it comes in. Someone who consumes this pepper incorrectly can asphyxiate himself or herself. I wonder if Leeroy would even notice how hot this pepper is.

You don't know how much curry Trevor eats, lol
kennethsarmstrong 31st Jul 2020, 12:38 PM
In strip #494, Trevor had eaten so much curry (or something) that he wore a corset to hide the extra weight he had gained. I could be wrong, but he must have eaten enough of something in excess.

It was just a joke Graham made :P

Simon was not laughing, but he was getting ready for Zombie Korma's next album at the time. Trevor's weight problem was the last thing he wants to have to deal with.

For sure, if Leeroy were to be an American citizen, he should be on "Hot Ones: the Game Show"-he will easily win $25k even after having this in the final round at 2 million Scoville units: https://heatonist.com/products/hot-ones-the-last-dab?variant=378416136201
Hell, he would drink the whole bottle without flinching!
kennethsarmstrong 1st Aug 2020, 8:19 PM
A principal part of a Bloody Mary is Tabasco sauce. I wonder if someone has tried substituting the Last Dab for Tabasco. Leeroy would probably not notice, but anyone else would gag on that kind of Bloody Mary if s/he drank it too fast.

I remember trying wasabi for the first time years ago. Instant regrets... XD

The second panel reminds me of the time I ate at a Korean restaurant at AC 2016.

That's going to be the first sit down restaurant I will eat at when the pandemic is over.

OMG!🥵. That should burn a new hole at the other end. Just keep paws away from the eyes and other..., sensitive parts.
kennethsarmstrong 1st Aug 2020, 8:31 PM
I wonder if horseradish was added to the wasabi sauce. Real wasabi is rarely used on its own because of its expense. Wasabi on its own is a lot hotter.

Maybe that is why Leeroy did not think that it was as hot as he thought it would be.
