Better mechanics than their own father? At that young of an age? It's more likely than you'd think :D

Hopefully they did mend it and it won't break down in the middle of a busy motorway somewhere? LOL :D

So that's how the twins discovered their talent for fixing vehicles. Interesting.

Also, I'm no mechanic, but I think it takes more than a hammer to repair a busted engine.

A hammer will fix a sticky starter motor.

A pleasantly surprising outcome and very different to what I was expecting.

I miss the Transmission story arcs that revolved around the twins work in their garage, and the other car-related arcs.

Ah, of course! I'd forgotten about the Austin Metro Y-reg, Y-reg, Y-reg...

(Don't keep asking me why, Reg: It just happens to be that year!)

Reg: Shut up Dad! XD

Family never had the Austin Metro, but they did have the newer Rover Metro and that was a little tank being Diesel.
Sadly you don't really see either these days.

That's how they're born with the gift

I'd ask why you'd want to fix an Austin Metro, but if you own one, you probably don't have much choice.

and from that day from now on they have the gift of fixing and building cars until later they were not allowed to touch a car until 16 or 18 of having a driver listen because they took their dad car for a joy ride.
