I'd love to visit Blackpool again one day. I went there in 2002 and it was a great day out for the whole family.

That all looks fun! :-D I haven't been to a fair in a while. And even if I did get a chance to go, I would avoid the rollar coasters... You can thank Final Destination for ruining a lot of things for me... But anyways, I love that Russ and Linda are having a great time togeather :-) and I also see a refrence in the second panel ;-) One more thing, I love the look on Russ's face on the rollar coaster XD

I'd love to ride the Big Dipper again :) The Big One is too high for the likes of me ^^.

My most extensive knowledge of Blackpool comes from a Jethro Tull song. Is that...sad...? I'm not a very worldly person :(

Still looks like a fun place to visit, though. Glad Russ and Linda had a great time together :)

It's one of the most famous seaside resorts in Britain :)

Well it is a family destination. ;)

I notice Linda trying to win a Magnus plushie there. ;)

Also, I see you self-promoted Kat-Venture in there. Ooh, subtle :D

^_^ It was bound to happen eventually :D

Looks like Russ wasn't too fond of the roller coaster

Cool! Blackpool. That theme park was in Top Gear's economy race. Richard Hammond arrived first, but it was the Stig who ended up turning on the lights!

It's also heavily featured in the climax of "Mrs. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children." Isn't there a joke about putting your face through holes in a cardboard picture being one of the things to do at Blackpool?
FreyFox 28th Oct 2016, 10:24 AM edit delete reply
Wooden holes rather than cardboard but yes, most British seaside towns share the association.

Ha! Looks like Disneyland has some competition since Blackpool has the Northern Lights, more beautiful than Cinderella's Castle. XD

Looks like Linda is having the time of her life with the rides, while Russell is trying to avoid wetting himself. XD

Nod to the Kat-Venture stuffed doll in the claw machine. I love references from creators' other series. ;)

I heard in 2018 they will be building a new launched coaster that doesn't have a name yet.
