Even when your band is doing well in Germany, you just can't beat the Hoff :P

Starting this coming Monday we are returning to twice weekly updates! And the big 400!

Every band performing in Germany just needs to have David Hasselhoff appear as the opening act. They will have ZERO problems selling out :D Although there might be a drastic drop in attendance numbers after the opening act XD

Well, his song "Looking For Freedom" is popular among Germans because of his performance at the dismantling of the Berlin Wall, so you really can't blame entire country for liking one particular artist over another. :)

Nope ^^. I wonder what they think of "Jump In My Car"?

Not much, because by then he long has been a has-been at that point. *lol* His fame here in Germany was actually rather shortlived and only lasted for a couple of hits in the early 90s. That was when the local TV stations aired Knight Rider for the first time and when "Looking For Freedom" coincided with the fall of the Berlin Wall. He's more of a case of "He came and went" (at least in MY memory), but his whole superstar career in Germany still makes for a good punchline. :D

As an aside, I always find it interesting how some countries have dramatically different tastes than what you'd expect. Italy back in the '70s was HUGE on progressive rock like Genesis and Yes, and the Norse countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway) have always been pretty keen on heavy metal. It's kind of fascinating isn't it?

I didn't even realize until I actually looked at the number again that you're only one away from 400 strips. I look forward to seeing what will be in that special strip! :) And of course, I can't wait to see two strips a week again. It felt kind of weird this past month or so only seeing one a week-I found myself checking in on Sundays sometimes actually expecting to see a new one :D Guess that happens when you get used to things!

I feel sorry for the band. Being upstaged by a former Baywatch star who is now remembered in starring in that drunk hamburger video. XD

I remmeber him most for cameoing in the Spongebob movie over a decade ago in which he parodied his role on Baywatch :D

Quick question. Will Jason's freind jeff and Jason's girlfriend be on the cast page to this series? I ask cause I noticed that there is no cast page for this site now. Also what is Jason's girlfriends name?

The cast page is still there as is the links, but Comic Fury has been on the fritz lately. I'm sure they're working on sorting that out.

I have no plans to include Jeff or Jane (the white girl fox) on the cast page because they're neither major nor recurring characters. But I figure I should do an updated cast page one day with both major and minor characters. :)
