Referencing an infamous comic by an infamous furry artist who I'm not so keen on. Because Randall is a lot more dangerous and unpredictable than his characters are in the same situation!

I feel it is also worth pointing out that Randall is the sort of character who very much overreacts to everything, going to lengths that no ordinary person would do. His past has shaped him up into the morally ambiguous character he is today. You're not meant to always take his side. So while his actions in this strip might be a bit extreme, it explains a lot about his character really.

Jake Elmer 19th Feb 2016, 12:08 AM edit delete reply
Randall is clearly not the guy you want to take a piss on.
Guest 19th Feb 2016, 12:09 AM edit delete reply
How is he a Scout master? D:
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 12:32 AM edit delete reply
He knows a lot about the outdoors. That and you're supposed to wonder.
David31 19th Feb 2016, 12:18 AM edit delete reply
Why do I get the feeling that he'll be killed off one day?
Guest 19th Feb 2016, 10:17 AM edit delete reply
If he does, I only hope that the kill is shown on-panel. That way there'll be no possibility of doubt, unlike what happened with that abusive uncle...
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 10:43 AM edit delete reply
If a major character is ever offed, it will be made absolutely certain and be shown.
David31 29th Feb 2016, 2:46 AM edit delete reply
Indeed. We need proof to ensure that they are gone for good.
GoodKaptainKook 19th Feb 2016, 12:18 AM edit delete reply
This guy is considered trustworthy enough to be a Scoutmaster? I wouldn't trust Randall to be a TRASHMAN, much less a Scoutmaster :D

"Polite conversation" my ass! Jesus, Randall, I understand the anger at your ex-wife cheating on you but, that...? DAMN...
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 12:34 AM edit delete reply
He does not do subtle. You are left to wonder how somebody who has had such a twisted past as him can still function today.
GoodKaptainKook 19th Feb 2016, 11:17 PM edit delete reply
How does he function? Simple answer, really-MAGIC! It's the answer to anything unexplainable :D

Seriously, though, I'd be scared of crossing this guy's path and ticking him off. I'd be afraid he'd try to...I don't know, eat my HEART or something wildly out there like that! XD
Tigerpool 19th Feb 2016, 12:19 AM edit delete reply
Holy Sh*t! XD
Guest 19th Feb 2016, 12:28 AM edit delete reply
Well I guess that's another sausage that's going on the grill.

Yup. I went there. Give me the opportunity and I'll take it. XD
Zarpaulus 19th Feb 2016, 1:16 AM edit delete reply
That must have been some hectic divorce proceedings.

Wonder if his girlfriend knows about his exes.
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 2:05 AM edit delete reply
I'm not sure if he would have told her the full details, probably what he'd been saying to the boy scouts. But then she might suspect that more happened than what was implied. Randall is quite well mannered really, provided one doesn't cross him!
Grant 19th Feb 2016, 3:39 AM edit delete reply
I'm sorry, I'm done with this comic. It goes from likable and enjoyable to this. These changes... I can't. Sorry.
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 10:45 AM edit delete reply
One violent strip and you're out? Suit yourself. I never wanted to make a comic series that was always sunshine and daffodils.
Warner Republic 19th Feb 2016, 4:24 AM edit delete reply

Ladies and gentlemen, The Trevor Phillips of the KeenyFox universe. XD

Adultery comes with a price. What did Randall see in that disloyal harpy in the first place?
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 10:47 AM edit delete reply
He was a bit naive perhaps, either that or she changed over the years. He definitely has Trevor Phillips qualities though!

FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 5:43 PM edit delete reply
LOL :P Nowt like a bit of occasional black comedy.
Colliefan 19th Feb 2016, 1:08 PM edit delete reply
Can't say I blame Randall.
The Dane should be happy, Randall just did for free what vets charge a lot of money for.

This strip made me laugh, nice work.
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 5:45 PM edit delete reply
Hehe true! I think this strip has divided some fans ^^. Some love it, others hate it.
Colliefan 20th Feb 2016, 12:44 AM edit delete reply
I don't see what's to hate, nine times out of ten you draw none violent stuff, even on the rare occasion you draw something violent its always within context and never bloody just for the sake of it.
I'll confess, I have a soft spot for Randell and I love his misadventures, he's like the ex army burnt out shell of a person with too many guns, you've seen the "The big Lebowski"? Randell reminds me of the part John Goodman plays.

Even if the fans don't like it, they should wait until next week when it'll be back to normal.
Seizethemoment 19th Feb 2016, 1:57 PM edit delete reply
Randall is like the breaking bad character in some respects, going with such extreme lengths to settle things.

That's one way to sever relations.
FreyFox 19th Feb 2016, 5:46 PM edit delete reply
Good wordplay there. Randall is the sort of character who wouldn't be out of place in a show like Breaking Bad :)
GoodKaptainKook 19th Feb 2016, 11:10 PM edit delete reply
Ah, I see this is another strip that has divided some of your fans, complete with someone saying they're officially DONE with your comic altogether. Wow.

Might as well go ahead and say, I don't have a problem with darker thematics in your work cropping up from time to time. Speaking as a writer myself, I personally prefer happier, more upbeat material over gloomy, pessimistic, or darker material in general, but there's nothing WRONG with having darker moments every now and then. Life isn't always filled with happiness, y'know...

The only way I'd probably stop following this strip is if you turned it into a non-stop gore-fest or something like that (IE, strips like this EVERY single week). I don't mind stuff like this every once in a while, but too much of this kind of material would be rather...Hard to stomach, at least for me. That said I would be REALLY surprised if you went in THAT direction! XD

Sorry for my mini-essay. You're just going to have to get used to that out of me, it's...eh...a trademark of mine to type a lot when I have something on the mind :D
FreyFox 20th Feb 2016, 12:33 AM edit delete reply
Well I remember that the Jason story was a bit dark compared to the stories that preceded it, but it is now one of the most popular stories in the series. :) Don't worry, gore won't be a regular theme in this. It's not a key trait.
Fuzzy 20th Feb 2016, 12:44 AM edit delete reply
Go Randall! Way to show both those adulterers!
Thwaitesy 20th Feb 2016, 1:27 AM edit delete reply
Didn't you and I discuss what should happen after the events of the infamous comic? I seem to recall plenty of discussion about the subject.
Section79 20th Feb 2016, 1:37 AM edit delete reply
Lesson learned. Don't fuck with Randall.
Guest 26th Feb 2016, 6:21 PM edit delete reply
or his wife it seems... doing that could get some part of you dis-member-ed.
maxgoof 20th Feb 2016, 7:30 AM edit delete reply
Um...guys...he's relating this story around a scout campfire. That should be enough to tell you that the story isn't true.

In the next panel, we could be treated to the story of the haunted sausage, that comes after him, seeking revenge.
FreyFox 20th Feb 2016, 8:34 AM edit delete reply
That'd be hilarious XD
Connoryugi 20th Feb 2016, 8:17 AM edit delete reply
What comic were you referencing here? Jack?
Anyways, despite the dark matter involved in this strip, I would like to say I like your comic overall and have been a reader for a while. Keep up the good work.
FreyFox 20th Feb 2016, 8:34 AM edit delete reply
No, not Jack. Good guess though. No, it is a stab at Zaush.
Connor Macleod 20th Feb 2016, 10:20 PM edit delete reply
Well, I guess you'd have expect his wife and the Great Dane to be going at it "Doggie Style"!!
Coyote7 21st Feb 2016, 4:43 PM edit delete reply

FoKI 6th Mar 2017, 1:12 AM edit delete reply
I don't know.
Seizethemoment 29th Feb 2016, 12:06 AM edit delete reply
A "Polite Discussion" is a nice euphemism here.XD

This is Randall at his best/worst/core.
Nic Walkin 20th Jun 2016, 10:16 AM edit delete reply
I should punch you for making me look up the original comic but this was a fun subversion, him not taking any of the usual furry crap is awesome. This bitch and the pig both deserved what they got.

Uh, Randall? Way to paralyze the scout kids about you killing two people (By people, I mean animals).
FreyFox 23rd Dec 2016, 1:10 AM edit delete reply
He didn't kill them and he kept his details vague :P
