Nuh! I'm sure there must be a wild deer just beside him, still Randall should wait till he gets out of the way. :D

I believe Randall is dying of hunger so much, he's taking risks.

-Little Girl, "Please, not the deer! I love the deer!" :D

I love deer too. Especially with BBQ sauce on the grill, or chicken-fried.

Now that I think about it Randall better watch his tail. I remember as a child that squirrel and dumplings was pretty tasty.

I would never hunt animals because I love them ad much as furries and some furry people are animal lovers.

The only creatures I'll willingly kill are certain arthropods, especially the biting/stinging kind if they get too close, and fruit flies & flies and their ilk when they're inside. I'll hand the flashlight and stuff up to my uncle when he goes up to set mouse traps, and hold the bag open for sprung ones with a corpse to be scooped into, but that's as far as I'll go.
That said, if I ever had to kill a mammal, I'd want to make sure as much of its body went to good use and that any remains were placed in a secluded location and covered or buried, and I'd say a few words in its memory.

It's pleasing to see so much compassion being expressed toward animals here. I do know that many furries have fursonas based on predatory animals, and therefore killing animals is no big deal to them - like Randal they see it as part of what they are.

By a co-incidence I'm friends with another foxaroo who lives in the state north of me. He takes after his fox side and hunting does very much appeal to him.

...let's face it, a world of anthro animals is just plain weird.

Randall has no qualms with shooting civilians out in the wild for food. Doesn't come as a shock to me :D
