Yeah, sometimes America can be a tight bit vain with their teeth. :D

Also folks new strips will now be posted at 1.00AM BST due to Daylight Savings Time. Sorry Keeny, had to tell them. ;)

Ah! This brings back memories of when I was 14.
& I got my braces...it was a pain in my mouth and a pain in the Ass
But you get used to wires on you. Here I am four years later Braces Free

@Jake Elmer, you have my most sincere sympathy. I had mine in 1986-87 and they were Hell. Sharp pieces of metal on the fronts of my incisors, rubber bands that snapped without warning, and the constant pain as they altered the shape of my jaw. My brother got it worse still; he was attacked by one of the school bullies who left him with a badly-bleeding mouth.

I hope braces are more sophisticated these days.

To cap it off, I doubt my brother and I ever needed them. We had a mother who grew up in the '50s at a time braces were a status symbol.

@ Kangaar Foxfire
Ouch I'm sorry about that.
I feel bad for you & your brother

Stupid Brilliant white American teeth Eh?

Russell, must we remind you of the dental stereotype of your fellow Brits?
Zarpaulus 30th Mar 2015, 3:18 AM edit delete reply
They've just got crooked teeth, not decaying.

Braces are cosmetic surgery you know.
FreyFox 31st Mar 2015, 12:06 AM edit delete reply
@Anon I'll stick with the Brit teeth thanks!

...otherwise known as incisors and molars. Russ wouldn't have any cannines. Not forgetting wisdom teeth of course. Then depending on species you have those hybrids...
...I'm referring to *premolar* teeth. :P

Head to the deep American South. The teeth there will make ya feel right at home. BTW nice flag work.
Max Goof 30th Mar 2015, 2:15 AM edit delete reply
How did they manage to fly the flag from that end? The blue field is usually by the pole.

You know that the union (stars) is suppose to be against the pole, right?
FreyFox 31st Mar 2015, 12:05 AM edit delete reply

@Keenyfox & @Science Dog, ROFLMAO! Well spotted Science Dog! I hadn't even noticed that!

Keeny, I think you need more practice drawing flags of former colonies. :)

I sometimes get so embarrassed of looking pictures that awkward. I'm trying to think how Russell is going to look with braces.
FreyFox 31st Mar 2015, 12:05 AM edit delete reply
@DrCavanaugh He is not getting braces, that isn't something you get for a broken tooth :P
DrCavanaugh 31st Mar 2015, 12:39 AM edit delete reply
Haha, I know. It's just that I saw the "Smile" poster, and that thought came to my mind.
Tigerpool 31st Mar 2015, 3:57 AM edit delete reply

Ajay Parihar 1st Apr 2015, 6:09 PM edit delete reply

I wear retainers to keep my teeth straight, some people get grossed out by 'em. This was right after my braces.

FreyFox 3rd Apr 2015, 9:00 AM edit delete reply

Ajay Parihar 6th Apr 2015, 3:10 AM edit delete reply

Ooh, I know all too well about having to have dental work done. I had some of the ugliest teeth you've ever seen when I was a kid. I pretty much was Snaggletooth :D Had to have braces put on and wore those for a couple of years. Still have a few metal wires in my mouth to keep some teeth in place...

Somehow this reminds me of the "Big Book of British Smiles" from the Simpsons. Of course I realize it's just a stereotype that all folks from the British Isles have horrendous teeth :D
