That American fast food sure packs a load of calories! And it has caught up on the twins! Hopefully that extra weight isn't going to last too long...

I must apologise for the two-month hiatus; I felt that I needed a break until I felt motivated to do the comic again. I must say I enjoyed working on this page though - not bad for an afternoon's work!

I spent 3 months in the USA, and even though I was walking around and keeping active I still put on 10kg.

Shoot, just over 20 lbs in three months? Usually you gain that much just by breathing the air over here! You must have been in one of those odd towns that only have three fast food joints per mile radius.

No worries. This page was well-worth the 2 month wait:3 Yeah that's exactly why I only eat fast food three times a month at most. Have a slight pudge I wanna get rid of n' fast food diet coupled with. Grad School stress would make things worse:P

Funny thing is, I have a similar problem when in their hometown Stoke-On-Trent...must be the comfort eating to numb the pain of being in Stoke-On-Trent :D

There are healthier choices than McDonalds, like Subway and Chipotle. Though McDonalds is the common around here, fact is that theres more Subways around the world than McDonalds

The trick to survive the increased intake is to simply get more physically active, watch the serving size and to find some means of speeding up your metabolism slightly.

Yep, that's what happens when you spend too much time in the fast food joints. I can attest to that first-hand :D

That's pretty much what happens when you eat too much fast food. They could've picked healthier options, or just ate at home and saved money.
