Just because it glitters, that doesn't mean it's gold! ^_^

The seventies were a rough time for kids.

Nowadays all they had to worry about was Ian Watkins.

Wow. I was just talking about those two last week. Meanwhile in the States Jerry Sandusky was looking forward to an exciting career.

Just take peace in the fact he has mostly good ones.
I guess, never heard of those performers.

Also, I should mention that Trevor and the twins' dad (Anthony, right?) reminds me of my own mother! She was really big into glam rock when she a teenager in the early '70s! I'm kind of surprised someone in the US actually knows who Slade were since they weren't exactly tearing up the Billboard Top 40, but she did :)

FYI her favorite of those bands was by and FAR Mott the Hoople. "All the Young Dudes" is my mom's favorite song by a long shot. She was such a big fan of them that she actually did a report on the band for high school, and in fact, she snuck away from home at the age of 14 with her best high school friend to see them perform in concert in NYC. Grandma found out and walloped Mom for doing that...But she says she has no regrets! :)

Had me interested until Gary Glitter. Less we say about him, the better.
