It is an improvement. Still sounds terrible, mileage-wise.

When you consider it was originally between 3 MPG and 3 GPM, that is still a huge improvement.

Well considering a modern muscle car like a GT500 gets 18mpg while still having over 600 horses.

I personally don't believe that gas-guzzling sports cars are going to kill the planet. I'm not trying to sound conservative, I want the planet to survive. But when you look at how long cars have around, you have ask, "If people say that cars are a threat to the environment and are going to destroy the earth, why aren't we dead already?"

I don't have a problem with environmentalists, they're good people. I just don't like feeling bad for enjoying something that I love. I believe there are bigger threats to the environment than a 1,000 horsepower Bugatti Veyron.

@Section79 I think George Carlin said it best :)

I'm sure he did, Keeny. I just love fast cars and I don't want to see them taken away. It would hurt not only me, but millions of car enthusiasts around the world.

George Carlin definitely put it best: "The planet is fine, the people are f***ed!"
